That is how we are preparing for Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition 2026. From 25 to 27 August, Cofinay by Xiongqi Textile Technology Co., Ltd. will be at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), in Hall 5.1, Booth C118.

Our booth will bring together six featured fabrics, seven clearly defined collection areas, and a new Cofinay magazine that pairs 19 finished activewear looks with physical fabric swatches. Each magazine page also carries its own QR code, so visitors can move from the garment idea in front of them to the detailed parameters of several relevant fabrics without searching through a separate catalogue.

A booth organised around real activewear development needs

A buyer rarely arrives with only one question. This collection is intended for lightweight outdoor and movement-led applications. Visitors can discuss the balance between low weight, comfort and the performance requirements of a specific garment rather than relying on a generic lightweight claim.

Fashion-Trend Sportswear Hoodie Fabric Area

This area connects sportswear function with a more directional fashion brief. It is aimed at hoodies, layers and active-lifestyle silhouettes where structure, surface character and wearability all influence the final choice.

Pilates

Pilates garments place particular demands on touch, stretch, coverage and control. This area groups materials that can be evaluated against close-to-body silhouettes and studio movement, with final suitability confirmed from the actual product specification.

Recycled Eco-Friendly LYCRA

This collection brings recycled material options and stretch performance into the same sourcing discussion. Fibre content, certification scope and traceability should always be checked against the selected article and order details, so our team will review the relevant documentation with buyers case by case.

Yoga

The yoga area is built around the tactile and mechanical questions that matter in close-fitting activewear: softness, stretch direction, recovery, coverage and the way the fabric settles on the body. The right answer depends on the garment, target price and desired wearing experience.

Cofinay will present a broad selection of activewear fabrics at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics 2026. The six featured styles below offer a preview of the wider collection, highlighting different approaches to stretch, support, softness and moisture management.

Each product code can be linked directly to its corresponding product page, where buyers can view fabric images and more detailed specifications.

Physical samples of all six fabrics will be available at Hall 5.1, Booth C118. Visitors can compare their hand feel, stretch, recovery and suitability for different activewear applications with the Cofinay team.

From finished looks to fabric specifications: inside the Cofinay magazine

A swatch is useful, but it does not always tell the full product story on its own. For this exhibition, we have designed a Cofinay magazine that places material selection beside the finished garment idea.

The magazine contains 19 complete activewear looks. On each page, the garment presentation is accompanied by corresponding physical fabric swatches, allowing visitors to see the design direction and handle the actual materials in one place. Every page also has an independent QR code. Scanning it opens the detailed parameters for multiple fabrics related to that look.

The magazine will be available free of charge at Booth C118 and can be taken away after the visit. It is intended to remain useful when a designer, developer or buyer returns to the office and needs to continue an internal discussion with something more concrete than a collection of phone photographs.

Bring the brief—not just a list of fabric names

The most useful booth meetings usually begin with a garment and a problem to solve. You may need a specific hand feel, stronger recovery, a particular appearance after dyeing, closer colour control, or a cost structure that works for the collection. Those priorities can lead to different yarn ratios, knitting parameters and finishing routes.

Because Cofinay works with knitting and dyeing under direct production oversight, our team can discuss those variables as part of one development route. The route is not fixed in advance. A customer with an unusually strict colourfastness requirement may need a different approach from one whose first priority is disciplined cost control. The actual recommendation must follow the fabric, colour, performance target, quantity and order details.

If possible, bring a reference garment, fabric cutting, tech pack, colour standard or a short list of must-have performance requirements. Even an imperfect starting sample can make the conversation more precise.
