Product Description
Developed under the design concept of "dynamic balance," this high-performance interlock fabric is engineered for the seamless transition between active training and urban daily life. The integration of premium spandex provides outstanding multi-directional stretch and instant recovery, allowing the textile to contour naturally to the body and follow muscle movements with zero physical restriction or discomfort. Reinforced with high-tenacity polyester fibers, the fabric establishes a stable structural framework that ensures a clean, crisp drape, exceptional durability, and outstanding wrinkle resistance after repeated laundering and high-frequency usage. At a balanced mid-weight of 250gsm, this knit fabric strikes an optimal balance between comforting compression and natural breathability, offering subtle shaping benefits without excessive heat retention or physical heaviness. Highly recommended for commercial garment manufacturers and activewear brands, this versatile textile is ideal for producing premium yoga apparel, fitness training wear, and light outdoor athleisure collections that require technical reliability, excellent color fastness, and a polished, professional aesthetic.
Fabric Care
Machine wash cold (30°C / 86°F) on gentle cycle. Use mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners to protect the elastomeric stretch properties of the Spandex.
Do not use chlorine bleach or stain removers containing active oxygen. Chemical bleaching agent residues will irreversibly degrade nylon fibers and ruin elastic recovery.
Iron at low temperature setting (maximum 110°C / 230°F) if necessary. Always place a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric to prevent synthetic glazing.
Tumble dry on low heat settings or air dry flat in shade. High temperatures cause fiber shrinkage, color fading, and loss of tensile strength.
Technical FAQ
Since Cofinay owns its knitting mill and dyeing factory – from yarn to finished fabric – we respond much faster than trading-based competitors. You can request samples via the “Contact Us” page on our website or call our sales hotline directly.
- Standard stock fabrics: Free A4‑size samples (shipping fee applies).
- Custom specifications (e.g., specific weight, width, functional finishes): A small sampling fee will be charged based on process complexity, which will be fully refunded on the bulk order.
Samples are typically shipped within 3–5 business days.
Proper care preserves elasticity and functional finishes. We recommend:
- Washing: Hand wash or machine wash in cold water (below 30°C) using a laundry bag on a gentle/sportswear cycle. Avoid washing with rough zippers or heavy garments.
- Detergent: Use a neutral sports detergent. Never use fabric softener (it clogs breathable pores and damages spandex elasticity) or chlorine bleach.
- Drying: Lay flat to air dry in the shade. Do not wring or tumble dry – high heat embrittles spandex and damages coatings.
- Storage: Store completely dry in a cool, dark place, avoiding heavy stacking.
- Stain removal: For oil‑based stains (e.g., sunscreen), pre‑treat with a small amount of mild dish soap before washing.
Absolutely. Thanks to our in‑house dyeing and knitting facilities, we offer flexible customization:
- Custom colors: Minimum 100kg per shade (standard colors). Pantone matching available.
- Functional finishes: Moisture-wicking, UV protection (UPF50+), antibacterial, anti-odor – any combination available.
- Fabric structure: Adjust knit structure (mesh, rib, plain) to modify stretch/breathability.
Simply provide your design or functional requirements, and we will send a sampling proposal within 48 hours. Minimum order quantities start as low as 500 meters per color (300 meters possible for some greige goods).
As a manufacturer with our own mill and dyehouse (not a trader), Cofinay’s key advantages are:
- Quality control: High‑gauge circular knitting machines reduce streaks and spandex breaks; fully automated dye dispensing ensures ΔE < 1.
- Durable elasticity: High‑quality spandex (comparable to Lycra®) with anti‑relaxation heat setting – elasticity retention >92% after 300 repeated stretches.
- Eco‑friendly production: Low‑liquor ratio dyeing technology, OEKO‑TEX® STANDARD 100 certified.
- Fast reorders: Every formula and machine parameter is archived – repeat orders take only 7–10 days with excellent batch‑to‑batch consistency.
